Michael Z Teoh founded ZT Studio in 2019 and is the sole director and leads the design and documentation for all projects within the practice.  Michael graduated from University of New South Wales, Australia with a Bachelor of Architecture before completing his Masters of Architecture in University of Technology Sydney, Australia in 2016.

Michael has gained his knowledge and skills throughout his 2 years of working in a multi-award-winning Architectural firm Candalepas Associates in Sydney, Australia and 3 years locally in Penang and Kuala Lumpur.  Michael is inspired to study and work abroad in order to widen his international exposure while at the same time strengthening his professional skills and knowledge in architecture. He believes that every country and city has something unique to offer in terms of architecture where there are various culture, architectural styles and characteristics in the buildings.

Michael is the recipient of numerous awards and prizes during both his Undergraduate and Masters time in Sydney. He is also a Winner of Structural Innovation in Architecture Awards (Team) by Australian Institute of Architects (AIA), NSW Graduates Awards in 2016.  Michael is a registered graduate architect with Board of Architects Malaysia (LAM) and also a registered member of Malaysian Institute of Architects (PAM).

Isabelle trained at The One Academy School of Interior Design, graduating with Diploma of Interior Design with high distinction. Since joining ZT Studio in 2019, she has involved in various type of projects ranging from residential to commercial.

Dedicated Senior Interior Designer with more than 6 years of hands-on experience in enhancing spaces within residential, commercial, and hospitality settings. Known for crafting designs that seamlessly combine beauty and practicality, consistently surpassing client expectations. Proficient in project management, collaborative teamwork, and integrating sustainable practices. Committed to designing spaces that inspire and contribute to a more sustainable and healthier future.

Her frequent travel to Europe has strong influence on her design and is heavily evident throughout her work. Isabelle is passionate in designing spaces which demonstrates honesty to the rawness of the chosen material. She approaches her design with a singular and acutely honed eye to create clean aesthetically pleasing functional spaces. Isabelle currently is our lead interior designer in our studio and also a registered member of Malaysian Institute of Interior Design (MIID).
